Kathryn A. (McCue) Keohane, died Sunday evening, March 22, 2020 at her home in the care of her loving children. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph C. Keohane, with whom she shared fifty-two years of marriage. Kathryn was born in Peabody, educated in Salem at Saint James School, the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Barrett) McCue. Kathy was employed at the United Shoe in Beverly and later as a teacher’s aide at Danvers High School for 38 years. A longtime Danvers resident, she was a devoted catholic of the former Saint Alphonsus Church and Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church. She loved the time she spent with her family and friends, whether through her book club, playing mah-jongg, the Danvers Garden Club or shopping at all the local malls. Loyal and true to her family and friends, she was a caregiver to anyone who needed help or companionship and her quick wit was enjoyed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Kevin J. Keohane and his girlfriend, Van Tran of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her daughter, Susan E. Pindara and her husband Matthew of Windham, NH. Kathy also leaves her beloved sisters, Sister Mary McCue, SND of Ludlow, Dorothy Chambers and her husband William of Danvers, and Eleanor Page of Danvers, as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and faithful friend to many. She will be deeply missed and will live in our hearts forever. Her Funeral Mass and a celebration of Kathy’s life will be announced in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund, 468 Poquonock Ave, Windsor, CT 06095. Arrangements are by C.R.
