George R. Estella

January 21, 1950 - April 13, 2015

George R. Estella, 65, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 13, 2015. Born in Cambridge on Jan. 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert and Rose (Rogers) Estella. George was raised in Danvers where he graduated from DHS in 1968. He later earned a degree in Business Administration at Northeastern University. George spent his professional career as a dedicated salesman in the pool & spa industry. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating and traveling. He leaves his children and their spouses, Darrin and Karen Estella of Salem, MA, Derek and Shannon Estella of Salem, MA, and Danielle and Andrew Watson of Kingston, NH, his grandchildren, Thomas and Caitlin, Donovan and Erin, and Paige, Drew, and Rylee, his siblings, Judy LePage and her husband Paul, Rosemary Rae, and John Estella, all of Danvers, his sister-in-law Cindy Estella of Amesbury, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Roger Estella. Visiting hours are Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 3-6PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private.
