Evelyn Catrow Harrison, 96, died Sunday, March 27, 2016. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Harrison. Born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on Apr. 21, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Fortney) Catrow. She was raised and educated in West Virginia, graduating from St. Joseph’s High School. She then worked in Washington, DC for NASA prior to her marriage. A longtime Danvers resident, Mrs. Harrison was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Annunciation and a member of Court Henry A. Sullivan Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Saint Williams Guild at Saint John’s Prep. For thirty years, she wintered in Pompano Beach, FL. She leaves four children, Patricia Ruocco of Danvers, Annie Hill and her husband Bruce of Peabody, Stephen Harrison of Peabody, and Michael Harrison of Peabody, seven grandchildren, Debra Dunham, Theresa Parsons, Michael Ruocco, Joel King, and Preston, Brett, and Samantha Hill, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 9AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
