David B. LaClair, 64, died peacefully at his home in Danvers on March 3, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Martin) LaClair, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Born in Saugus on March 31, 1957, he was the son of the late Bruce and Catherine (Ruest) LaClair. He was raised and educated in Lynn and had been a Danvers resident for more than thirty years. David began his career at Salem Suede, working alongside his father. He later worked at Henry’s Market in Beverly until the time of his retirement due to illness. He served in the Army National Guard and enjoyed listening to his police scanner. He also loved to travel. His cruises to Alaska with his wife and to the Caribbean with his family were especially memorable. He was a devoted cat-dad to Skunk, Parker, and Frankie, who he adored. In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Tracy LaClair of Danvers, a son, David LaClair, Jr. and his girlfriend Jennifer Sanborn, who was a special daughter-in-law to David, three grandchildren, Haley, Mel, and David III, his siblings, Patricia Diglio and her husband Frank of Peabody, Amy LaClair of Marblehead, Jacqueline Mullen and her husband Albert of Danvers, Deborah Yee and her husband Stanley of Saco, ME, and Anthony LaClair of Biddeford, ME, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Alice Schumann and Catherine and Bruce LaClair. Visiting Hours are Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 3-6PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:30PM in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., West Peabody.
