JOHNSON, DAVID -- David B. Johnson, Jr., 22, died unexpectedly on Monday evening, March 17, 2008 at Lynn Union Hospital. He was the loving son of Janet Parsons and her husband Thomas of Beverly and David Johnson and his wife Debbie Gianatassio of Danvers.

Born on April 9, 1985 at the former St. Margaret’s Hospital in Dorchester, he was raised and educated in Danvers. David attended Thorpe School and was a member of the Class of 2003 at Danvers High School. In his youth, he was active in Danvers Youth Soccer and was an avid wrestling fan.

For several years, David had been employed by the Peapod Delivery Service though Stop-and-Shop.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister, Nicole Burke and her husband Matthew of Salem, a brother, Jonathan Parsons of Beverly, his maternal grandparents, Martha and Leonard Chase of Danvers, his paternal grandfather, Harold Johnson of Haverhill, his aunts and uncles: June Munroe, Marcia Piazza, Steve Johnson, Kenny Chase, and Bill Chase, his nephew, James Burke, his loving companion, Crystal Anderson of Middleton, and many dear friends.

Visiting hours are Friday, March 21, 2008 from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 8PM following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s name may be made to the Danvers Dare Program, c/o Danvers Police, 120 Ash St., Danvers, MA 01923.
