PROVOST, EDMOND SCOTT -- Edmond Scott Provost, 44, died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born in Lynn on April 14, 1962, he was the son of Marsha (Scott) Provost and the late Edmond F. Provost. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans’ Memorial High School, Class of 1981. Living in Danvers in recent years, he had also made his home in Maine, New Hampshire, and Florida.

Scott served in the U.S. Air Force for three years at Pease AFB in New Hampshire.

A music lover and accomplished guitarist, he played in the Beatles cover Band Beatle Invasion.

Currently studying to be a paralegal at North Shore Community College, he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a Dean’s List student.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by an aunt, Sandra Fortier of NH; two uncles: Richard Scott and his wife Kris of FL, and Wayne Scott and his wife Mary of Quincy; several cousins, and many dear friends.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006 at 10AM in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., West Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
